Our Story
HES was born from a simple observation: the digital tools meant to liberate organizations were often creating new forms of inequity. In 2018, founders Mohamed Hammami and Mahdi Maatar witnessed firsthand how legacy systems in Tunisia's public sector were inadvertently amplifying biases in hiring, resource allocation, and service delivery.
Working with the Tunisian Order of Architects, they realized that true digital transformation required more than just efficiency—it demanded a fundamental reimagining of how technology serves human equity. This insight sparked a mission: build platforms where fairness isn't an add-on feature, but the foundational architecture.
Today, HES serves governments, professional associations, and enterprises across Africa and beyond, aligning every solution with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
